Hi welcome to my Blog
If you are here for the first time then welcome and if you are here for 150 time , you are more than welcome.
I hope you enjoyed last weeks and digging deeper in the word of God, I have to say it was good to do and I learnt new things as I was writing it.
This week I want to look another scripture which I have looked at over the years as a Christan and I felt it speak to me time and time again.
Jeremiah 29 v 11
Back ground work
Jeremiah is 52 chapters long and has no chronological order, but ordered by events. Did you also know he was set apart like John the baptist to become a prophet before he was born. He was about 27 (we assume) when he started to preach and was among people like, Habakkuk,Daniel and Ezekiel. He was one of the ( Prophets that told the Jews to give into the Babylonians and surrender) He was not really liked by his people. In the end he died alone in Egypt which is very sad for a prophet of God.
Chapter 29 is right in the middle where the Israelites are being taken into captivity and this is what he writes to them.
It amazes me that some things in the bible can really capture your heart and stay with you all your Christan life. this is what happen with me with this verse and it is in printed in my heart.

Things that speak to you
The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim his handiwork (Psalm 19)
It is funny that when I was a child different things spoke to me, like seeing all the sky for top of a hill or baby birds in their nests. Elizabeth loves flowers and nature and I know they speak of their maker. what speaks to you???
Does Rainbows , nature, science, music or the arts speak to you? I love the ocean and think of God making it all. so today lets think of what speaks to you and touches your heart and be thankful for it.
Since God is the Creator of it all and it reflects His glory
Over the years people have spoken into my life about Jesus and what He can do for me. I will be ever grateful for The Howells and how they spoken into my life time and time again when I have needed it. we all need people to speak to us, so don't become on an island, but lets live this life with other people as well.
Sunday 25th.
what are plans ??
...For I know the plans I have for you... (Jeremia 29 :11)
The dictiornary says Plan means , aim, determine, scheme, propose, purpose, contemplate, envisage, foresee, ...
what are you Plans??
Are they for a house, or extensions on a house. plans to marry, plans to have children, plans to have lots of money , plans to travel and see the world. God says: I know the plans I have for you. His plans are perfect and full of promises that are yet to come. don't give up on your plans as God has not. We may be confident if we surrender our lives totally to God, he will us in the rght paths.
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. (proverbs 16:3)
Monday 26 Th
Achieving goals requires setting priorities
But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness.... (Matthew 6:33)
Yesterday we talked about Gods plans for our lives, everyone who wants to live the life the Lord has for him or her, needs to have his priorities straight. If we are in track with the Lord, we give priority to what He finds important. Jesus is our example. There was no topic Jesus talked about more as the Kingdom of God, there are over 80 references to it in the Gospels, let make the Kingdom of God, our priority in life, This means to make the reign of Jesus Christ more visible on the earth in everything we do. Let be Kingdom builders!
Tuesday 27th
Job and his life
... plans to prosper you and not to harm you... (Jeremiah 29:11)
It is funny when you look at this verse in the study bible at the word 'prosper" it takes you to Job and how his friend mentions that God will prosper him. you don't think of the story of Job and think of blessings, but he did receive them at the end, he got more than he had before the test started. Not to say that all tests will bring lots of money ( because they don't) but they will make you more like Jesus.
Job said: When he has tested, I shall come forth as gold (Job 23:10)
Wednesday 28th
what is Hope?
... plans to give you hope and a future... (Jeremiah 29: 11)
Looking forward, having something to hang on to. Hope, is a strong and confident expectation of things to come. Ever feel like you want to give up because things are not going right or people are not willing? It seems all the doors are shutting, don't give on your hope! My husband and I were talking the other day about hope, and that we can loose it. The Devil can be around us filling us with all sorts of things and we just think it is us or a bad day at the office. Something we just need to shake ourselves of and think I do have a hope and his name is Jesus.
Thursday 29
We need other people to help us on our way.
A friend loves at all times.. (Proverbs 17:17)
I remember when I lived in Crewe ( In England is where I am from) I lived by myself for a long time and got a bit lonely, so I started to pray for female friends to come into my life. It tuck a while but they came and what a blessing they were and still are to me. one person ( who i will not name) is still top of the list when I come to Crewe to see. Her and her family have blessed me over the years and I am so grateful for them and who they are as my family in Christ. Can I challenge you and encourage you to find people in the body of Christ who will help you long in your life with Jesus and also be your friend but most of all you can give to them as well??
Friday 30th
keep smiling :--)))
Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again: Rejoice! (Philippians 4:6)
I don't know about you but when I am feeling sad all I do is : smile and all the sadness goes away. Do you know it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile? So when you see somebody to day who looks a little sad, Think: I know! I will smile and hope it brightens up their day, you might be the only one who does that, and show them that somebody cares about them.

Welcome to my Blog
I just want to say a very Big welcome to everyone who had been reading this over the last five weeks. If you are here again then you are welcome and if you are new I hope you will stay and be on the journey of life with me and God.
Psalm 139
This week I am wanting to talk about the omniscience (all-knowing) of God, and how he made us. A lot of people know their name and address and telephone number and who their parents, grandparents are. I would say that most Christians would say they love Jesus but do they KNOW him as their Maker. I want us to look at Psalm 139 , take it apart a little bit at a time over the next 7 days and hope that we can go a little bit deeper in Gods love for us and to know more of his Father heart for his people.
I know when our children were born we were so in love with them, ( even in the middle of the night when they were screaming at us for no reason) .we just keep loving them more and more as they grow into the people the Lord has made them.
That's how God sees you, he wants the very best for you in life and for you to know him as FATHER.
Saturday 10th Psalm 139 1 to 4 You know my thoughts
I remember as a child watching television programmes about who knew each other better. they would ask question about each other while one sat in a box with ear phones on etc. did you know that most people do not stay the same over the years. that is the same for us believers because Christ is at work in us for the rest of lives. In this beginning of the Psalm the writer ( David )says you know everything about me and I bet he thought; and do you still love me??
The answer would be yes, I do, and still loves you. don't give up when your thoughts go a little bit weird or say some thing you should of not ( which happens to me ). He picks you up, dust you off and sends you going on another adventure of life with Him.
Sunday 11th Psalm 139 5 to 10 He goes before you
As I was looking at theses verses does anybody know what ''hem me in'' means?? Well I have looked and have come up with an answer. Prolonged intense look at something or somebody. Just think back to a time in your life when you found something that you could not take your eyes off. Maybe a sea shell with its detail or fish with its colours. You might have wanted to look at it for hours and tell everyone, Hey!, Look at what I have found , it is beautiful! Well that's what God does with you, He looks and sees the creation He has made and shouts for all heaven to look and give their praise.
The other verse ( 6) the "wonder ''can be found in Exodus 15: 11 . how for Moses, Miriam they could not stay silent of how God had just saved their people and showed his power, majesty and splendour, to His people. How Great is our God.
Monday 12 Th Psalm 139 7 to 10 He is Everywhere
Ever heard the word omnipresence ???
Well it means that God is everywhere, how can that be you say, well I say He is God. In these verses David writes that there is no where he can escape the Lord. he gives us examples of places of where we might go to get away from God but that does not work. There have been times in my life when I have just wanted to hide from God and not wanting him to see me or my sin. That's funny but true for most people but I have to say when we were doing the thing that we should not being doing. He was there watching and saying in our ear, come on don't do that I love you too much.
Verse 10 is where David does one of his famous turn around about God, at first he wants to get away and after awhile he realises that the God he serves will never let him go and will always look after him. Remember that today that the God you serve will never let you go and looks out for you.
Tuesday 13th Psalm 139 11 to 12 even when Darkness comes He is there
This winter here in Holland we have had days when the fog ( mist ) was so thick you could not see out of your windows. If you were the Car it was like driving with a blindfold on. That's what darkness can be like,it can come so fast and so thick it feels you can not move. There is somebody who shines in the darkness and that is Jesus . I heard a story about the Christians in China and how they were in a camp for what they believed in . The guards did not like them so they got one of the men , made he go down to his underwear and stand outside ( -20 ).They were thinking lets see how long it takes him to freeze to death. The man just prayed Lord make me warm, then it started the heat just came from his head to his toes. So hot that the Snow around just melted, the guards were amazed and let him go back to the hut .He was in praise to his God.
Wednesday 14th Psalm 139 13 to 18 Planned Parenthood
What a wonderful thing to know that we are wanted by the Lord, today we see that He was involved in our becoming a human being. He ordained the span of my life before it was. When no one saw us, He did ! Lets remember that He is a loving Father, that wants us, loves us and that He prepares good things for us on the earth, even though the trials and testings of life are not spared from us. The life of David shows us that , I think. He meditates of those thoughts and rejoices, because he knows the Lord is for him and not against him.
Thursday 15th Psalm 139 19 to 22
These are some strong words that are said here. It might seem a little bit hard for us to get anything valuable out of it, but I think there is something there. David speaks against the doers of unrighteousness, those who do evil deeds, of one thing we can be sure; that God loves justice.
For I, the Lord, love justice (Isaiah 61:8). He wants us to do the same, as we are created in His image, and are to reflect His justice and righteousness in our lives. As Christians we should be known for our love , but also for our love for truth, standing up for righteousness, and for the things that are on Gods hart.
Friday 16th Psalm 139 23 and 24 On tract with God
Are you on tract with Jesus ?. Today I want to leave it short and sweet. I want to challenge you to pray this prayer and listen to what the Lord will say to you through it. Ask the Lord if there anything between you and him. Also to show you the right way to go.
Well have a wonderful week and many blessings

kingom thinking part two
Welcome to my Blog
If you are here again for week two of the Kingdom Teaching ; welcome, and if you are just looking for the first time then I give you a big hello and hope you will keep looking and listening to the Lord.
Acts chapter 4 kingdom living part two.
This time I am going to be using the Bible a little bit more and seeing how the new testament is full of Kingdom thinkers and builders.
The new church was full of them and they wanted to know more about what they were expect to do and to be as new believers. They did not have the full Bible ( as we do ) but they did have Jesus and the Holy Spirit, the apostles who were able to tell them first hand what Jesus was like and his teaching. I would of loved to been there and meet Peter etc.
So in all this they became Kingdom thinkers but also world changers. If it was not for them sticking it out in the hard times, the Gospel would of not gone so far.
I always wanted to travel and see the world, I got to Holland and thought maybe this is it, but I know in my heart that the Lord has more for me than I think. so come on lets get busy with the kingdom and all that it holds.
3rd Saturday
Acts 10 Peter and Cornelius (verse 34-38)
What a chapter in life of the new church, Peter gets a vision about eating food that he sees.it is unclean, then Cornelius needs Peter to come and tell him the Good News about Jesus. Did you know it was so NOT done to go into a non-Jewish house and even to eat with them, it was a no no. Peter broke the mold because he wanted to obey Jesus . He was learning not to think within his own culture, but he was thinking like a Kingdom thinker. So here it is also for us, are we ready for God to do something extraordinary in our lives?
4th Sunday
Acts 12 1 to 18 Peter and his escape from Prison
I want to focus on the servant girl and the people in the house, they were praying for Peter, but we do not know what they were praying otherwise they would not been in shock when Peter arrived at their house. but the servant girl is the person for me, she was not surprised at all. I bet she was listening to the prayers and she herself was praying for one of the leaders of the way. When simple faith takes action it becomes the biggest faith there is.
5th Monday
Saul come Paul Acts 9
When I had been a Christan a while, I heard a sermon where they said Saul never really changed his name. But when he was with the gentiles he was Paul and when he was with the Jews he was Saul. He only changed his name, but not what he believed or who he was, He himself says that he is a jew to the jew, and a greek to the greek in order to save them (I Corinthians 9) He did it so not to offend people. What about you, do you change when you are with different people, for the good or for the bad.??
Lets just be us this day and be the Kingdom thinker God has made us to be.
6th Tuesday
John prepares the way Matthew 3 verse 4
Lets go back a little bit to the moment before Jesus was in the public eye and John was getting everybody ready for His coming. They say that John and Jesus played together as children and knew each other well.
They were cousins. John must of been some one of great character to carry the burden of being the forerunner for the Messiah. His life was set for one thing and one thing only ; to live out the destiny which God had for him. What about your destiny, are you living it our for Jesus or just looking at it and thinking em, maybe tomorrow. Come on! be that Kingdom thinker and runner with us today.
7 Th Wednesday
Solid food Hebrews 5 11 to 14
I remember when I was first a Christan, nobody told me about how to spend time with God or what prayer was etc. it was not until I went away for the weekend with my youthgroup and somebody was talking about QUIET TIMES. It was a bit of shock, but it helped me to go from milk to more solid spiritual food, and I realised I need more of Jesus, if I was going to go somewhere for him. What about you? Do you need more of Jesus, been standing still for a while? Then it is time to get some solid food again and grow.
8th Thursday
Kingdom thinker Amy Carmichael
She is one of my heroes of the faith, wanted to be in China, but ended up in India rescueing children from temple prostitution. When she started there she had no more than a shack and when she finished she had three school, two hospitals, four houses for the boys and four the girls, a church and her own compound and lots of workers.
When she wanted to go to China, people where shocked, and said; there is no need for women to be in China.
But she knew in her heart that Jesus was calling her to be a Kingdom builder and so her legacy lives on in India . Her organisation is still going on today. That is what I want to leave behind.
Something that will make people say ; She was a kingdom builder, is that what you want too??
9th Friday
Narnia movies
I have to say ; when I normally get to Friday it is late and I get a bit tired. But this week I am starting the other way around, so lets get to it. I love the narnia movies , and I like the Voyage of the dawn treader and Eustace. ( which makes me laugh ) But i think the one bit that touches my heart is where he is turned into the dragon and the mouse goes to him. He says extra ordinary events only happen to extra ordinary people and maybe this is a sign to say; what your life will be like. So lets think that today and be a positive Jesus-freak and think ; What can I do to turn the world upside down for Jesus today!!!!
well have a blessed week and love you
Jayne
Ps my Husband helped this week so lets give him some praise for his help :--))
