                                   Welcome to my Blog

Hello and welcome to all , If you are here looking for the first time, then I am glad you are looking. If you are here for 560 time then keep on dipping in on what the Lord has to say to you.

For the next two weeks I am going to be talking about Kingdom living, and what it means to do that

I have to be honest and say while I having being writing this my kids have been sick, so sorry if it is lacking its usually flare, probably due to lack of sleep!!!!

Acts chapter four living ( kingdom Living) Acts 4 32 to 37    Part One

When I first heard this I was amazed, challenged and in wonder of how  you can be this mindset in  the 21st century,  but I  learned you can. I was listening to Hope Church Crewe sermons on their web page,  this is where my mum goes and my good friends Phil and Emma Howell run it.

Somebody  preaching on how they do this in their church. how they give to the poor and make sure nobody goes with out. I was deeply challenged about what God says about kingdom living. is it holding your tongue? , no its more, is it giving your tithes?  no it's more, it is turning the world upside down and instead of doing it the worlds way,  to do it Gods way.

I remember one story this preacher told about how they bring their unwanted valuables to the church, which then the church sells on the web .Then when they get the money ,they give it to the poor in their neighbourhood ( either in food or helping the needy with bills etc). I would say that's Kingdom living.

25th Saturday
You can do this !!!!

I bet lots of people who read this will say; I cannot do that,  but you can . It is not up the preachers and the programmes at church, which are good. The Lords wants to use you, how much you can give,  he wants to use it. He loves and has given special gifts to you that nobody else has, They might look the same but they are not. So keep your chin up and don't think I cannot do this , but think what new things can I do for the Lord. ;-)

26th Sunday
 Just being you

do you know that just being you can bless other people. to show this I will tell of a story about me and the kids  where we live is a play scheme in the summer with bikes etc where the children can play. so last summer we were there ALOT and got to know the people who ran it etc. we where going away to see grandma and was just chattng waya about  it. they ask if my husband was coming and nsaid no he is is going somewhere else. cut  along story short while my children where playing in the sun i was able to share about Jesus to these people. so wheather you are at work or just at home remember people are looking at you and waiting for to share your faith.

27th monday

 what is the Kingdom??

When I was a child I loved watching films like King Arthur and the knights of the round table, not to be the maiden but to a knight and go and save the day somewhere.  they were always ready to defend thier kingdom and the people who lived a round it.thats how we should defend our place where we are in. looking to be kindom people and looking after people.

28th Tuesday

That kind man   ( the Good samratian)  Luke 10 , 32 to 37

I have always liked this story because it shows the way it should be to help people, not only the people you like,  but the people God puts of your path to help. Read this today and remember if it was not for the Good Samaritan in your life you would not know the Lord.

29th Wednesday
 People who can paint

I have friend who can paint and he is very good at it. I remember one time he and his wife came over to visit us. I was telling them about how I was trying to paint Elizabeths bedroom from green to pink etc. They went into the room and looked at my attempts. The next thing I know he is the paint bucket and started to help. He also stayed and did the next coat of paint and I have to say my daughers bedroom looks great! The story is this, after a few months they found out they were going to have a baby and I had a lot of things for them. When they came around to get them they said do you need money for all this? , I said no!  They looked  at me and I said:  it is paid in full with pink paint.

1stThursday
 God who loves you.

Jesus loves you, yes he does . Jesus loves you, yes he does why because the Bible tells me so. he also loves all the other people, black, white, orange with stripes ( our loved teddy bear) how do i know because the bible tells me so. Jesus loves the widows, orphans, lonley ,broken hearted , poor how do i know because the bible tells me so. what can i do with all this, read the bible and listen to Jesus and he will show you how!!!!!!!!

2nd Friday

 Baby Days

I remember being pregnant with Isaac and being so sick,  I think Elizabeth though I was sick ALL the time. Poor husband,  was going a little hungry with all the fast food. A lady from our old church came to our house with enough food for three days, she just came and said this is for you, I was cooking for us and wanted to bless you, all I can say it was a big blessing to us as a family. She was Kingdom thinking!

David Part 2

                                  Welcome to my Blog

After some thought and prayer I have decided to do another weeks worth's of devotions on the life of David. If you were here last week, I hope you enjoyed it . maybe you are new, welcome to the family and the Journey we will be on together.

Painting the picture:   From Wilderness  to Kingship

1 Samuel 18 to 2 Samuel 5

David was a young man who just killed the enemy and became Israels hero. What it must of been like to go to live in the palace, from sleeping under the stars and looking after the sheep and then being at the Kings table. Eating fine food and becoming friends with the king's son.
Saul , what a man.He could of had it all,  but chose another way  Saul wanted power and he did not like that David got it. Saul chased David for many years through the wilderness .David  learnt from his Desert experience ( his dark season of the soul) and let Saul live. He could of killed him 2 times ( 1 Samuel 24) and get the throne. David knew that this is not want God wanted and that he was not to touch God''s anointed King .That the throne would be his, so he waited and Gods promises came to pass.

Saturday 18th
 Jealousy Tree  1 Samuel 18 : 6 to 9

Saul could not see past his jealousy towards David, at one time he could. but when did he lostr sight of God,  then the root grew,  and became so big he could not see what he was doing. Where did this come from, Saul was insecure of who he was as a person and King. what about you, any trees that are getting in the way of you and Jesus that need be gently removed.????

Sunday 19th
  On the Run    1 Samuel 19 : 11 to 16
I remember when my son was born I decided with my husbands help I would take up running and excise three times a week. the first time i ran  around where i lived and was back with in 10 Min's and said I would never do it again, too much like hard work. David had no choice, he had to run or he would die. Don't give up on Running for Jesus or you will die spiritually

Monday 20th
Desert times part one  Psalm 84 : 5 to 7
As a Christan you forget  at times what valleys are like,  especially if your world is happy most of the time. but along comes a few bumps and wow the valley has arrived. over the years as a Christan psalm 84 has spoken to me about trials and testings. Sometimes we forget that desert times are where we most grow and they become places where we look back and see that Jesus took us by the hand and lead us through. He did that with David and made him look at things in new ways which helped him when he became King

Tuesday 21th
Desert times part two Psalm 84 : 5 to 7
I remember one time when I was going through a difficult patch  ( dark season of the soul )  going to a prayer meeting with some friends. People prayed for me for strength to get through it. One lady was praying,  she said:  Look ,who is this leaning on her lover out of the desert?  At the time I was like yeah, thanks but that not what I want to hear.  But after a while when I came out the other side I saw that I was leaning on Jesus like never before, He can do that for you.  So what ever valley you are in He can help you get out just hold on tight to your lover and He will lead you through.

Wednesday 22nd
Sensitive heart  2 Samuel 1  all of it

You would of thought that at Saul's death,  David would have cheered and go to be king straight away, but David was not like that. What about people you don't like that have a fall, do you laugh ?and think : serves them right,  or are you a little bit more compassionate.  After everything, Davids heart is still soft and cares for people. Do you need to be a little bit softer towards your enemies??

Thursday 24th
 David becomes King  2 Samuel   5  : 1 to 5

After all this time David becomes king. Wow!  what a journey it has been for him, the ups and downs of life but finally God's promises come to pass. The first thing he does is not throw a big party,  but he wants to honour God . David decides to bring the ark home to Jerusalem. There have been times in all of our lives when God has kept his promises,  and he has come through for us.  Lets remember today to give thanks for His faithfulness to us.

Friday 25th

Jesus is King   Revelation 1 : verse 8
He is My king, I am so glad that I know the Kings of Kings. He sits upon on His throne and not asleep or made of stone but he  is King of Kings.  He loved us very much, He wants to be in touch and He is the King of Kings

Have a great week and many blessings

Everyday with Jesus

Hello and welcome to my first ever blog and I have to say I am very exited about this.

I have done this so people who want a little bit of wisdom, laughter, thought for the day could have it from my blog. I hope to make a system where I do 7 days with thought for each day.

Everyday with Jesus, what does that mean ?

Simple, with the highs and lows of life  Jesus is there with you whether you feel He is,  or not. He is the one holding your hand and guiding you through all walks of life. So dont feel down about life but be aware that you Maker is holding you hand. Blessings Jayne

PS if you have comments about subjects you want me to cover then share. I can do little studies for each day.
